Jane Hushon

Jane is the owner and co-ordinator of the Swim Devon lessons. As a former GB International Swimmer, Jane can guide the development of swimmers based upon extension experience of the coaching process. A qualified Physical Education Teacher and University Lecturer, Jane instils a child centred approach to learning; we teach children how to swim.

Eloise is a JH Swim Devon Swimmer who has progressed into Swim Teaching upon the successful completion of her A Levels. Alongside our programme Eloise delivers curriculum swimming and PE lessons for our partner school Woodwater Academy, Exeter.

Lydia is a Fitness Professional delivering a range of fitness classes at The Cranford Club and a Sports Coaching Lecturer at Exeter College. Her natural talent for teaching and sheer love of working with young children is evident as she swaps the fitness studio and classroom for the pool!

Sarah has delivered both school swimming and Jane Hushon Swim Devon lessons for over fifteen years. Sarah works in SEND teaching environments and brings this expertise to the pool. Her enthusiasm doesn’t wane and her attention to detail is unrivalled. Sarah is also a qualified Teaching Assistant.

Annie is an accomplished pool and sea swimmer. As a Junior National swimmer she brings a wealth of expertise and technical knowledge to her delivery. Alongside our programme Annie delivers curriculum swimming for our partner school, St Peter’s School, Budleigh Salterton.

Katie H

Katie has worked as a medic for the last 20 years. In swimming, she sees a chance to have fun and drop any worries or difficulties for a time. She believes that swimming should be accessible to everyone and enjoys teaching groups and individuals, working on fitness and technique, but also on personal goals and needs. She missed out on parties as a child from not being able to swim, and is on a mission to stop this happening to others!

Katie T

Katie has transition for parent to Swim Teacher. Katie works with Jo to deliver our pre-school and parent & baby programme. Katie volunteered to support the St Peter’s School lessons and we are delighted she has trained and qualified to join our team.

Jo is an early years specialist, she runs Seashore Baby Massage Courses and co-ordinates our baby and pre-school programme at St Peter’s School. She delivers group lessons for Swim Devon and combines this with swimming curriculum delivery for St Peter's School in Budleigh.

Archie is a JH Swim Devon Swimmer who has progressed into Swim Teaching as his primary focus for his gap year, prior to attending University. Archie is a keen triathlete and Wing Surfer and shares the passion for having fun in the water.
